A company claims to have created a NIC (network interface card) supporting 10Gbps Ethernet speeds over Cat 5 copper wires, rather than the fiber optic lines used by most 10gbps NICs.
Dynatem's "MAX Copper" PCI-X NIC card is available with Windows XP (and therefore XPe) drivers.
