        1GHz fanless computer runs Windows Embedded

        Axiomtek has introduced a compact, rugged, fanless computer packaged in a heavy-duty, aluminum and stainless steel housing. The eBox746-FL runs an ultra low-power Via Eden processor at clock rates up to 1 GHz, and supports both Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded.

        The system can be wall-mounted or attached to DIN raiils, and its storage options include both CompactFlash and a 2.5-inch hard drive. Key features of the eBox746 include:
