Adeneo has received the Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Award for 2007, for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region. The company received this award in the System Integrator category, as part of Microsoft's recent Mobile & Embedded Developers Conference (MEDC) in Berlin.

The custom design house has specialized in creating "official" BSPs (board support packages), easing development of Windows CE-based devices. For example, it offers reference BSPs for platforms including the Atmel AT91 (shown above-left) and NXP LC3180, plus ready-to-use BSPs for phyCORE's PXA270 (depicted on the right) and LPC3180 modules.

Adeneo also offers Windows CE-oriented software applications, such as its Bluetooth manager. In addition, according to the company's website, it "designs, industrializes and manufactures complete turnkey embedded devices for various markets."

Ilya Bukshteyn, Microsoft's worldwide director of Windows Embedded Marketing, stated, "We are excited to recognize the contributions of Adeneo. Adeneo has clearly demonstrated a passion and a strong expertise for enabling customers to bring new and innovative designs to market quickly."

The Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Awards were previously known as the Windows Embedded Partner of the Year Awards. More information on the awards appears here on Microsoft's Web site.
