Ten webcasts of presentations from the 2005 Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) are now available. The webcasts cover embedded (though not necessarily Windows Embedded-related) topics including IOP storage processors from Intel, Zigbee, FPGAs, DSPs (digital signal processors), SIP-based applications (session initiation protocol), and more.

        The ten available webcasts are:
        • Mixed-signal measurement techniques for characterizing data converters
        • data converter architectures
        • Matching power MOSFETs and pulse width modulators
        • Replacing control and sensor wires on a budget with ZigBee
        • The future of FPGAs for embedded systems -- where will we be in 2010?
        • DSP OnRamp: enabling DSP in FPGAs
        • Designing with IP in FPGAs
        • Intel XScale IOPs in embedded applications
        • Modular communications platforms: driving server economics to create the next generation network
        • SIP-Based applications
The nicely produced webcasts are available at bitrates of 56Kbps, 100Kbps, and 300Kbps, and require a player such as Windows Media Player. Additional information can be found at the 2005 ESC Webcast Portal.
