For the record, Axiomtek designates the N270-equipped model of this panel PC as the GOT-3126TL-830, and calls the Z510PT-equipped version the GOT-3126T-823. The former employs the 945GSE northbridge and ICH7M southbridge, while the latter uses the SCH US15WPT I/O controller, the company adds.
Both models are equipped with a 12.1-inch screen that has resistive touch and a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. The version on the GOT-3126T-823 has a 500-nit brightness rating, whereas the one on the GOT-3126TL-830 has (for some unexplained reason) a slightly lower 450-nit rating.
According to Axiomtek, the devices are expandable up to 2GB of RAM via a single DIMM slot, and each has a 2.5-inch bay for an SATA-based hard disk drive or solid state disk. Also included are CompactFlash and Mini PCI Express slots, the company says.
Axiomtek says the GOT-3126T-823 and GOT-3126TL-830 may be mounted on walls, via VESA-compatible hardware, on an optional desktop stand, or within a panel cut-out. Interfaces are on the devices' lower edge, and include two RS232 ports and one RS232/422/485 port, four USB 2.0 ports, a gigabit Ethernet port, and a VGA output, according to the company.
Beyond that, the GOT-3126T-823 and GOT-3126TL-830 again differ slightly. The former has a PS/2 keyboard/mouse port, while the latter has an additional RS232 port, according to Axiomtek.
