Also like the PL-80160, the NA-510 supports DDR3 memory, but its dual SIMMs provide only half the capacity. The NA-510 is said to support up to 8GB of unbuffered, non-ECC DDR3 memory.
Storage and peripheral expansion is available via two front-facing USB ports, as well as an unlisted number of additional USB ports via internal pin headers. More peripheral expansion is available via either a MiniPCI slot or a PCI Express (PCIe) x8 slot, says Axiomtek. An RJ-45 console port is also said to be supplied, supporting the NA-510's BIOS redirection feature.
The main course here is gigabit Ethernet, available via eight ports, with either Intel 82574L or Intel 82578DM controllers available. Two of the pairs support LAN bypass via WDT and GPIO pin definition "without any downtime," says the company. Additional features are said to include a watchdog timer, as well as front-facing LED indicators.
The 16.93 x 15.43 x 1.73-inch (430 x 392 x 44mm) 1U device can be rackmounted, and is equipped with a 270-Watt ATX power supply, says Axiomtek. The appliance is said to support temperatures of 32 to 113 deg. F (0 to 45 deg. C).
Availability
The NA-510 will be available around the end of September, says Axiomtek, which did not release pricing. More information and a datasheet may be found here.
