        The MC9000-G offers a choice of OS


        According to Symbol, key applications for the MC9000-G include inventory management, price verification, shipping/receiving, warehouse management, shop floor data capture and baggage reconciliation.

        The device is powered by a 400MHz Intel XScale PXA255 processor equipped with either 32/32MB or 64/64MB of RAM/Flash memory (depending on OS selection), and boasts a bright, 3.8-inch, 1/4 VGA, color or monochrome LCD display and a selection of field replaceable backlit keypads.

        The MC9000-G offers communications via RS232, USB client, and 802.11b (Wi-Fi) wireless networking, and Bluetooth wireless is also available as an option.

        The built-in variable range code scan engine allows short- (4 in.) or long-range (40 ft.) bar code scanning in one device.
