(Click here for a larger view of the Benq P50)The P50 has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular networking, along with a 1.3-megapixel camera. It packs an Intel Bulverde PXA272 processor and an SDIO expansion slot, too. It's a bit longer than the Treo, although the keyboard is very similar to the Treo 600's, with similar domed keys. Only the price will prevent it from truly assaulting sales of the Treo 650 and the HP iPAQ h6315 Pocket PC phone, both of which are cheaper than the P50.
The P50 will be appearing this spring, with or without a mobile carrier, for somewhere between $650 and $800 street price, the article reports.
BenQ
unveiled the P50 last March at the CeBIT show in Hannover, Germany.
