Adisasta Software has introduced Pocket PC client software for the BitTorrent file sharing application and site. According to the company, its WinMobileTorrent v.1.201 is "the one and only" BitTorrent client for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs.

Adisasta's client software allows Pocket PC users to upload and download files, as well as to monitor the process. It also "supports multiple simultaneous downloads with various functions to manage downloads and peers in a user-friendly interface," says Yongki Andyka, founder and CEO of Adisasta.

According to the company, winMobile Torrent's features include:
        • Easily open, copy or paste a torrent file from Windows Mobile file explorer or open it from Pocket Internet Explorer's download dialog
        • Organize all torrents that have been processed into one single director
        • Display over all and individual leeching/seeding graphics
        • Expand a download item to view all its peers and their connection status
        • Log view and file to track download activities
        • Add, connect, disconnect or delete peers
        • Pause and resume download
        • Check tracker's scape information
        • Display individual torrent's block status within any file in the torrent
winMobile Torrent works on any device running Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003/2003 SE, and Andyka told a reporter from PC Magazine that it will "eventually work on the future Windows 5 platform, though he has yet to test that in a real-world situation."

A free trial version of the client is available for download at Adisasta's web site, as is a full fledged version for $19.99.
