The device can report ten different emotional states, including whether its wearer is relaxed, upbeat, worried, agitated, etc. The data is based on "established algorithms and calculations relied upon in the fields of neuropsychology and biofeedback," the company says. The company reports that its internal testing indicates that the emotional status results are better than 75 percent accurate.

The data can be accessed from the company's "secure" website, where "easy-to-interpret taskbar emoticons" and graphs display changes in the wearer's emotional and physical activity, according to Exmovere.
The device supports three different means of transmitting data:
- When the wearer is at home and within 300 feet of a Bluetooth-enabled PC, the PC serves as the monitor/receiver using ExmoReporter PC Edition software
- When the wearer leaves the house, ExmoReporter Mobile Edition takes over, transmitting data from a Bluetooth-enabled Windows Mobile smartphone
- When the wearer is in a vehicle, the Exmocare Car Kit supplements the physiological data with GPS tracking
According to Exmovere president David Bychkov, the system "enables elderly people to live, travel, and even drive on their own, with their families or loved ones having the additional comfort level of receiving nearly real-time data about their heart-rate, activity and emotions." He adds, "our wristwatch system will help let them know early, possibly before being informed by home care specialists, if something's out of the ordinary with their loved one."
Subscriptions start at $89 per month with a 36 month term. The watch itself varies from $99 to $299, depending on the selected subscription term.
