Edwards says his new book helps prepare engineers for technical and professional challenges related to embedded development, with "detailed instructions" describing how to achieve successful designs using a variety of microcontrollers and scripting languages.

        Edwards's previous books include:
        • Embedded Engineering from Consultancy to the Corporate Ladder
        • Open Source Robotics and Process Control Cookbook
        • Embedded System Design on a Shoestring
Additionally, Edwards often contributes to IBM's DeveloperWorks website.

        Availability

The 256-page book is available now from Amazon.com, priced at $40.

Edwards maintains a webpage listing his publications, here.
