The nearly $14,000 donated prize offered by winxponmac.com for the first team to dual-boot Windows XP and Mac OS on an Intel-powered Mac has been won, according to the website.

There are even a few photos and videos floating around the Web to prove it.

Now, Andy Allred of the Windows XP Embedded team is starting to wonder how long it will be before someone manages to boot a Windows XPe image on an Intel Mac. He's even offering a prize of a Windows Embedded T-shirt to the first person who proves it has been done.

Allred hastens to point that last year, he posted an April Fools story on his blog about the Windows Embedded team collaborating with Apple to componentize Mac OS X. Looks like he wasn't all that far off!

OK hackers, this is your big chance: be the first on your block to own -- and wear -- a genuine Windows Embedded T-shirt!
