Specifically, Bsquare's new packaged services include:
- Feasibility Study -- Bsquare engineers will provide 80 hours of research and analysis before making recommendations in a findings document.
- Short-Term Service Packages -- Bsquare engineers will provide short-term services in blocks of 40, 80, or 160 hours, according to the terms of a two-page contract.
- Quality Assurance Service Packages -- Independent testing of devices for system software defects.
- SDIO JumpStart Service -- Ten days of engineering services to adapt an SDIO Host Controller driver to the customer's system, integrate Bsquare's SDIO Now! system software stack, and generate a binary Windows CE, PPC, or SP image running on the target.
Bsquare's new service packages augment previously announced packaged services, including:
- Windows XP Embedded JumpStart -- Bsquare engineers will spend up to 40 hours migrating a target system from a Windows desktop operating system to Windows XPe, delivering a bootable Windows XP Embedded operating system image, including applications and device drivers, customized for the specific hardware platform.
- Product Support Service Packages -- According to Bsquare, this package provides "rapid response, expert diagnosis, and trusted resolution."
