        Building efficient Pocket PC apps with the .NET CF

        An article published on Microsoft's MSDN website explains how to use the .NET Compact Framework (CF) creatively to write Pocket PC apps.         According to authors David Edson and John Socha-Leialoha, "As long as you take a few things into consideration and are willing to bend a rule or two," it's possible to build high performance Pocket PC apps with the .NET CF.

        Many of the article's points are illustrated through a "test bench" application (see screen shot above). Source code for the test bench is available for download. The article covers such issues as:
