Mini-PC manufacturer SD-Omega has announced a Windows XP-compatible mini-PC that supports dual displays. The SD631T is primarily intended as a car PC that can drive both a GPS display for the driver and an entertainment and Net-surfing display for passengers.

The SD631T appears to be based on the SD631CH introduced in late 2006, adding the capability of dual-displays. Supported dual-display modes include an "extended" mode, in which the same content is shown on both displays, and a "simultaneous" mode, in which different content is displayed.

The SD631T's Intel i915GM/ICH6M chipset is equipped with a 400/533MHz front-side bus, and supports an Intel Pentium M or Celeron M clocked at up to 2.13GHz, SD-Omega says. The SD631T supports SODIMM DDR II 400/533MHz memory, and is equipped with an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950.

The mini-PC supports DVI, VGA and TV-Out, and offers a 1394-Firewire connection with a 400Mb data transfer rate. Other I/O includes 10/200 Ethernet, three USB ports, and a serial port.
