launched last year, features three-way wireless capabilities supporting GSM/GPRS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Cingular says it has roaming agreements that allow customers to use the device in 160 countries when making phone calls, and over 80 countries when accessing data.
The HP iPAQ h6320/6325 is based on a Texas Instruments OMAP 1510 processor with 64MB of SDRAM and 64 MB of Flash (55 MB user-accessible). Up to to 20 MB of the Flash memory is allocated as "iPAQ File Store" non-volatile memory, which is used to store critical data, databases, and other important files, according to Cingular. An integrated Secure Digital (SD) slot supports SD and Multimedia Card memory cards.
Both the h6320 and h6325 feature a 3.5-inch transflective TFT LCD and a snap-on removable thumb keyboard. Additionally, the h6325 sports a VGA (640 x 480 pixels) LCD with 8-bit color.
The iPAQ h6320/6325 runs Microsoft's Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition for Pocket PC operating system, and includes "pocket" versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer. Cingular says it also supports the Microsoft Windows .NET Compact Framework, enabling IT investments already made in .NET applications to be easily leveraged and extended to mobile users.
