According to Adlink, the system -- called "GEME", for "general embedded machine engine" -- includes a single-board computer, power supply, and optional storage peripherals such as CompactFlash or a 2.5-inch hard drive. The system enclosure features various mounting options and can be modularly expanded via one PMC and multiple PC/104 modules.

Various models of the GEME systems are available, with processors that include a 300MHz National Semiconductor Geode GX1, a 650MHz of ultra low voltage Celeron, and an 800MHz low voltage Pentium III processor. Interface options vary according to GEME model.

Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded are available pre-loaded in the systems.
