They are compatible with 3.3V and 5V devices, include full hardware modem control, and can operate at speeds up to 921.6K bps. One-port models are CompactFlash Type I compliant, and the RS-232 card can be ordered with a permanently affixed ruggedized cable. The two-port card is CompactFlash Type II compliant and includes optical isolation on both RS-232 ports for protection against transients and ground loops. All of the products provide protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD), according to Sealevel.
Sealevel says its CompactFlash serial cards are housed in rugged metal cases and are backed by a lifetime warranty. Cards are available immediately from stock, and prices begin at $119.
