        Data collection software graces Pocket PCs

        Applied PDA Software has released version 2.0 of its data acquisition software for Pocket PCs. PocketDAQ 2.0 Professional Edition supports a variety of peripherals communicating over serial, infrared, or wireless Bluetooth interfaces, including barcode scanners, GPS receivers, sensors, scales, balances, RFID instruments, and other...


        data loggers.

        According to the company, the latest release of Pocket DAQ Pro includes a new and improved graphical user interface and many new features, including logging, enhanced filtering, and automatic relaying of incoming serial data directly into Pocket Excel or any running application. Version 2.0 also allows users to save configuration settings for instruments.

        PocketDAQ v2.0, Professional Edition supports products running on Windows Mobile 2002/2003/second edition for Pocket PCs. It is priced at $74.95, which includes unlimited technical support. A 14-day trial version is available for download.
