        Datalight named Gold-level WEP member

        Datalight announced that it has been selected by Microsoft for the Gold level of the Windows Embedded Partner Program.




        According to Microsoft Gold level WEP membership enables Microsoft's customers "to identify best-in-class System Integrators, Independent Software Vendors, and Independent Hardware Vendors who have successfully demonstrated technological expertise and leadership in the Windows Embedded platforms and tools community."

        Datalight is listed as a Gold member in the category of Independent Software Vendor. Datalight said it will participate in Windows Embedded co-marketing programs.

        "Achieving the Windows Embedded Partner Gold level is a significant achievement for Datalight," said David Cloutier, president and COO of Datalight. "Over the last three years, Datalight has focused considerable attention on delivering system software products specifically intended to assist developers of Windows CE. NET devices get their products to market more quickly. Our customers will gain confidence from Microsofts endorsement of Datalights reliable file system and flash memory management software."

        In addition to flash file system and flash memory software, Datalight also offers ROM-DOS, a small footprint DOS-compatible operating system targeting embedded applications.
