iAnywhere has added Windows Mobile 5.0 support to the latest version of its mobile device-to-desktop PIM synchronization software. XTNDConnect PC version 5.4 synchronizes contacts, calendars, tasks, email, and notes between mobile devices and popular PC applications such as ACT!, Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, and Novell Groupwise, according to the company.

iAnywhere claims that XTNDConnect PC's data synchronization function is more than two times as fast as that of competing products. One reason for this is that following initial synchronization, only changes are synchronized, the company explains.

The package is available in eleven European langauges including English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish, according to the company.

"We believe we are well-positioned to provide support for the multitude of Windows Mobile 5.0 devices that are now entering the market," said XTNDConnect PC product manager Gerd Uitdewilligen. "In addition, XTNDConnect PC provides great flexibility with its support for numerous phones and PDAs and multiple desktop PIMs in many different languages."

iAnywhere says XTNDConnect PC 5.4 is immediately available via software download with a list price of $59.95 per user license. Upgrade pricing for current XTNDConnect PC customers is $39.95.
