and elsewhere, according to the company.
Studio publishes real-time graphic screens, trends, alarms, reports, and recipes to standard browsers by intranet or the Internet. With its built-in web server function, it allows field equipment to be remotely monitored over the Internet, with a multi-level security feature built-in. The improvements of Studio V6.0 over StudioV5.1 include multiple display interfaces for Windows CE runtime and web thin clients, which allows the creation of graphical frames that can be displayed on separate screens. The previous version supported this feature only for Windows XP runtime.

Studio V6.0 also provides enhancements to web thin-client support. More types of tags are now supported, including indirect tags, screen logic (On Open, While Open, On Close), and retentiveness. An enhanced virtual keypad allows flexible adjustment to a size that matches the screen size and resolution of the system, no matter if it is a touch-screen display, handheld device, or a custom machine panel.
Advantech Studio V6.0 also supports check box, and radio button objects as well as grids. To simplify remote and secure management via the Internet, the latest version also supports web tunnels so that firewalls can be used with web thin clients. It supports more than 150 communication drivers for third party devices from different manufacturers such as Omron, Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
