        Free Windows CE .NET BSPs available for AMD Alchemy processors

        Bsquare has developed Windows CE .NET 4.2 board support packages (BSPs) for AMD's Alchemy Solutions Au1x00 system-on-chip processors, and is making them available for free download. According to Bsquare, the Alchemy BSPs are suitable for application such as handhelds, Internet appliances, home/office automation devices, and other embedded systems.




        Bsquare says the customizable packages include: BSP source code, boot loader and OEM Adaptation Layer (OAL) source code, peripheral device driver, DMA controller, network support source code, and documentation for all custom APIs.

        Windows CE .NET 4.2 BSPs are available from Bsquare for the following AMD Alchemy Platforms:
        • AMD Au1000 Platforms (Db1000, Pb1000)

        • AMD Au1100 Platforms (Db1100, Hydrogen III Mobile Handheld RDK, Pb1100)

        • AMD Au1500 Platforms (Db1500, Portable Media Tablet RDK (Mirage), Pb1500)
