Turn-by-turn voice instructions in English, French, or Italian guide you from any point to any other point within 16 European countries. The 3.5-inch TFT LCD provides 3D street-level views of your route, and plots your position with an accuracy of five meters 95 percent of the time, Navman says.

With the Navman PiN we are now offering the consumer an all-in-one, convenient navigation device that offers the reliability of Navman GPS technology along with personal information manager functionality and outstanding value for money, says Prash Vadgama, managing director of Navman Europe.

And don't forget, it's also a Pocket PC powered by a 300 MHz Intel PXA255 processor with 64 MB of RAM. Programs and maps can be downloaded through the built-in USB 1.1 connection and ActiveSync. Pocket Outlook contact address information can be used as a route destination. The company says the device also delivers full multimedia capabilities, supporting MP3 playback, full motion video, picture viewing and voice recording.

Update (July 6, 2004) -- The Navman PiN Pocket PC is now available in the United States and includes detailed street-level mapping for the 48 contiguous states, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. It is available at electronics stores nationwide, priced at $499.95.
