Grayhill 3D104
The 3D104 is equipped with 64MB of memory and 64MB of flash storage, and has a sunlight-readable 10.4-inch, 800 x 600 display with a 400-nit brightness rating, says Grayhill. A touchscreen is optional -- otherwise, operators can use the seven soft-keys that are positioned beneath the display.
In addition, Grayhill's CAN-bus keypads or Vehicle Display Controller (VDC) can interface with the 3D104, says Grayhill.The 3D104 offers a 10/100 Ethernet port, a USB port, two serial ports, and three CAN bus ports, the latter used to "facilitate communication with the vehicle's ECU," says the company. Other I/O includes three GPIO out and two GPIO in.
Sealed to IP67 standards, the computer offers ruggedization support and protection against the elements compliant with ANSI/ASAE EP455, says Grayhill. The 3D104 can operate at temperatures ranging from -22 to 149 deg. F, says the company.
The computer ships with either Windows CE or Linux. Grayhill can also develop custom dashboards and control panels based on the 3D104 "to meet the unique price, performance and aesthetic requirements of vehicle OEMs," says the company.
