Acrosser Technology is offering what it describes as an "HMI development kit" intended to simplify human machine interface (HMI) subsystem development for medical, kiosk, casino, and gaming applications. The kit includes "all necessary components for building the Human Machine Interface," according to the company.

Acrosser's HMI development kit includes an SBC (single-board computer), TFT LCD display, touch-screen panel, controllers, back light inverter, power supply, and an evaluation Window CE image built for the specific hardware components, the company says. The kit can be customized from a range of the company's SBCs, along with LCD screens from its partners.

The company says it guarantees five to eight years of supply and support for the HMI kit's components, some of which meet IEC61000 and IPC-610-A standards for medical-grade devices. Acrosser is ISO-9001 certified.
