When HTC
announced the Universal in May, it was claimed to be the "world's first" 3G mobile phone based on Windows Mobile 5.0. The clamshell-style device sports a full QWERTY keyboard and a 3.6-inch VGA (640 x 480) display that swivels around 180 degrees to create a tablet-style PDA, complete with touchscreen.
