        ISA-bus SBC boasts high integration, runs Windows Embedded

        Acrosser Technology has introduced a high-integration, ISA-bus form-factor SBC (single-board computer) based on a low power 600MHz Via Eden processor. The AR-B1673 includes a battery-backed SRAM for saving critical data in the event of a power failure, and runs both Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded.

        The AR-B1673 includes 128 MB of onboard SDRAM. Both the processor and SDRAM are soldered onto the board, making the device suitable for fanless operation in harsh environments, according to Acrosser. The "ultra low power" SRAM has a capacity of 512 KB.

        Thanks to its ISA-bus edgecard connectors, the SBC can either plug into a passive backplane or be used standalone.

        Acrosser lists the following key features and specifications for the AR-B1673:
