        Intel adds four new mobile Pentiums

        Intel announced four new mobile Pentium processor variants today. The latest Pentium M and Celeron M processors range from 900 MHz to 1.4 GHz clock speeds with power consumptions from 7 to 24.5 Watts, and are based on Intel's 0.13-micron manufacturing technology (see table, below).




        Pentium M, in conjunction with Intel's 855 chipsets and PRO/Wireless networking silicon, is a key component of Intel's "Centrino" branded silicon for mobile applications.
