Earlier this year, Microsoft named TenAsys as its
Embedded Partner of the Year in the independent software vendor category, for the third year in a row.
TenAsys is well-known for its INtime real-time extension to Windows XP and XP Embedded that began an Intel product, iRMX. The
latest release of INtime, version 3.0, supports
Core Duo dual-core processors in a way that dedicates one CPU core to real-time tasks and the other to Windows, resulting in substantially reduced interrupt latency in the real-time domain, according to the company.
The
Intel Communications Alliance is described as a community of over 300 communications and embedded system developers "committed to the development of modular standards-based solutions using Intel technologies." Markets served by the group include industrial automation, communications, commercial, medical systems, and test and measurement, according to TenAsys.
