Intermec Technologies announced a new "ruggedized" tablet PC that is based on a Mobile Intel Pentium III Processor-M running the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition operating system.
The new device, designated the Intermec CT60, is protected by a fully sealed, vacuum-tested, milled aluminum housing to prevent moisture and dust from entering the unit, the company said. Other key features include 256 or 512 MB RAM, 20 or 40 GB hard drive, dual hot-swappable batteries, and built-in wireless connectivity.
