According to Kontron's data sheet, the Pico Client includes 32MB of RAM and 16MB of flash storage -- something of a blast from the past, but apparently adequate to run the included build of Windows CE 6.0. Storage may be expanded via a SD/MMC slot, the company adds.
Kontron says the "cost-optimzed" Pico Client includes two 10/100 Ethernet ports, an RS232/485 port, and a USB 1.1 port. It's said the device's front panel meets IP65 standard for resistance to water and dust, while shocks of up to 15G (11ms duration) may be withstood while the Pico Client is operating, and 30G when it is not.Features and specifications listed by Kontron for the Pico Client include:
Kontron did not release pricing for the Pico Client, but said the device is now available in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), and will be available in North America and APAC (Asia and Pacifc) in the second quarter of this year.
