MSDN has announced the first in a series of one-hour webcasts titled "Tablet and Mobile PC Applications Development," aimed at .NET Developers. The first session will take place Friday, March 18 at 10:00 am PST, and will be led by Michelle McKelvey, ISV architect of Microsoft's Mobile Platforms Division, and Bernd Helzer, senior architect of Agilix Labs Inc.

This first session will focus on the InfiNotes Note Taking Framework built by Agilix Labs as an extension to the Tablet PC SDK and Visual Studio .NET Development environment. InfiNotes is a collection of .NET controls that add "rich ink" note-taking functionality to new and existing applications with drag-and-drop simplicity, according to Agilix.

InfiNotes Standard Edition is available as a free download and should be installed in a development environment, along with the Tablet PC SDK, prior the presentation. However, it should be noted that a Tablet PC is not required to develop Tablet applications.
