Microsoft has announced the "Ultimate Architect III Contest," which will take place at the upcoming Windows Embedded Developers' Conference (DevCon) in San Diego, Calif., June 28 through July 1.

"Build the best SumoBot and be the envy of your peers with much fame and great prizes," says Microsoft.

Elimination heats will take place throughout DevCon, with the final round taking place at the DevCon Attendee Party.
