        Microsoft offers free mobile developer resource kit

        Microsoft has announced availability of a free Mobile Developer Resource Kit consisting of a DVD containing a collection of tools and resources for developers seeking knowledge about the company's latest platform advances for mobile technologies.         applications, guidance on programs that help take applications to market, and additional technical documentation to help as skills develop.

        Of interest to current Windows Mobile developers, the kit contains the latest SDKs for Windows Mobile 2003, emulator images, and content for developing Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition applications. New articles on developing orientation- and resolution-aware applications explain how to take advantage of these new capabilities devices that support them.
