Bluetooth specialist Brainboxes has announced that its range of adapters and converters for Bluetooth wireless technology have been selected by developers at Microsoft as test hardware for its Windows CE Platform Builder.

The company says it has worked closely over the last four years with Microsoft's Windows XP, Windows Embedded, and Windows Mobile development teams to ensure that Brainboxes' wide range of Bluetooth products meet Microsoft's demanding standards.

Windows CE Platform Builder is a development tool used by developers to design, create, build, and debug a Windows CE operating system image. Brainboxes says Microsoft selected its Bluetooth products in order to demonstrate the Bluetooth software capabilities of Windows CE.

Brainboxes claims to be one of the few companies to offer Bluetooth adapters that support the full range of computer interfaces and modules including USB and RS-232 converters, and CompactFlash and PCMCIA modules for Bluetooth embedded applications.
