Sybase subsidiary iAnywhere has released a new version of its platform for delivering Web-based content and applications to mobile devices for online and disconnected use. New features M-Business Anywhere 6.0 include Web Services integration support, Asian localization, and improvements in management, performance, and security, according to the company.

iAnywhere describes M-Business Anywhere as a platform that can deliver Web-based content and applications to a wide variety of mobile devices rapidly and cost-effectively, with minimal recoding. Web developers can leverage existing skill sets and knowledge of open standards to develop and deploy fully interactive Web applications with sync-and-go or wireless capabilities, according to the company.

The package supports devices running Windows Mobile 2003.
