The MPC-122-K's 22-inch display, for which no touch capabilities are cited, is said to feature full-range dimming, optical bonding, a wide view angle, and color calibration. Specifications include a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 300-nit brightness rating.
The device's front panel includes a display adjustment button, a USB port with a waterproof cover, and a four-way controller with menu button, according to Moxa. Other ports, behind the display on the MPC-122-K's left side, include six additional USB 2.0 ports, two gigabit Ethernet ports, two serial ports (RS232/422/485), and a PS/2 port.
According to Moxa, the MPC-122-K also has two video outputs -- DVI-D and VGA -- along with 3.5mm jacks for line-level audio I/O. A CompactFlash slot resides behind a screw-on door, while a 2.5-inch SATA hard disk drive is optional internally, the company adds.
Moxa says the MPC-122-K employs Intel's GS45 northbridge and ICH9M southbridge, using a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 processor and accepting up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM in a single SODIMM slot. The panel PC also offers a Mini PCI Express expansion slot, no doubt intended for wireless networking.
