- Can customers still order the Evaluation Edition CD? -- Yes. Customers can order the Evaluation Edition here. They will need to cover shipping and handling expenses.
- Does the downloadable version expire like the CD? -- Yes. Both the downloadable version & the CD allow you to build runtime images of Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 1 that time bomb 120 days after first boot.
- Will customers require a product key? -- Yes. They will need to register for a product key online.
- Do customers have to install the entire product, if they already have either the tools or SQL installed on their development machines? -- No. Users get to choose from a tools-only, database-only or combined installation. In fact, our tool scans your development machine for you, to let you know what you already have installed, reducing the friction even further for customers.
