Reviewer Brad Isaac starts with a search for the perfect browser, both for his desktop PC and for his Pocket PC.
Having selected Opera for his desktop PC, he continues his quest for an alternative on his Pocket PC, and proceeds to evaluate the features and characteristics of Access NetFront in the remainder of the review.
Brad explains how "tabbed" browsers like Opera and NetFront differ from Internet Explorer or Netscape. Each time you open an additional page in IE, it essentially starts another copy of the program. A tabbed browser opens additional pages in the same window (program instance) and just creates a new tab. Brad suggests that the tabbed strategy is faster and more efficient, particularly for a handheld device.
