TabletPCPost.com, a central location where Tablet PC users can preview and download software designed specifically for their Tablet PCs, launched this week after a successful month-long beta trial. The new site is "dedicated to increasing awareness of Tablet PCs," according to managing editor Lora Heiny.

Heiny says TabletPCPost provides a comprehensive catalog of entertainment, general business, education, and industry-specific Tablet PC applications. Website visitors can also participate actively by posting comments about their own experiences and voting for their favorite products.

"If you want to find applications for the Tablet PC, TabletPCPost is the best place to go," adds Microsoft technical evangelist Robert Scoble.

"Tablet PCs provide all the power of a standard Microsoft Windows-based notebook plus additional features that improve mobility, including pen-input, light form-factors, and handwriting, and speech recognition," says Heiny. "These enhancements increase the number of ways people can use computers for practical and creative work. In turn, this opens up markets for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) who see a competitive advantage in developing new applications for Tablet PCs. Many of these ISVs, such as Agilix, use TabletPCPost to create brand identity and generate revenues in the growing Tablet market."

The provides RSS feeds that enable Tablet PC users to track in real-time the "New Releases" as well as the "Top Downloads."

Visit the new Tablet PC site at TabletPCPost.com.
