Newsmy didn't cite the specific processor used by its new A16HD, but says the PMP uses a 65nm ARM11 processor and runs Windows CE 6.0. According to the company, the device has the power to serve up 1080i video on an HDMI port, and to record 720p video via an integral A/V input.
The A16 HD has a five-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of up to 800 x 480 pixels, while resolution on an externally connected HDTV can go as high as 1920 x 1080 pixels, the company says. The PMP comes with 16GB of internal flash storage, which may be added to via a microSD expansion slot, adds Newsmy.

Newsmy's A16HD
Newsmy's A16HD apparently includes a custom user interface, as pictured above. However, the company says "users can DIY-install numerous third-party Windows CE applications, such as electronic maps, learning software, games, and so on," presumably via a USB port and syncing to a desktop computer. Unfortunately, this is no full-fledged mobile internet device, since there's no sign of any wireless networking.
