The Lumia 900 resembles the company's earlier, internationally offered Lumia 800 in both design and construction -- a polycarbonate unibody is offered in either cyan or black -- but is larger. While the screen resolution is still 800 x 480 pixels, it now measures 4.3 inches diagonally instead of 3.7 inches, says Nokia.

The Lumia 900 (above) once again has an eight megapixel main camera with Carl Zeiss optics and F2/2 sensitivity, but it also gets a one megapixel front-facing camera, for use with the included "Tango" videoconferencing application. Both cameras capture video at 30fps, and the main unit does so at 720p, Nokia adds.
Nokia says the Lumnia 900 is powered by a 1.4GHz, single-core APQ8055 processor. As with the Lumia 800, there's 512MB of RAM, 16GB of flash storage, but no microSD expansion slot.
According to Nokia, the "souped-up" battery in the '900 will provide about seven hours of talk time and up to 300 hours standby. If you switch to flight mode and use the phone just as an MP3 music player, it'll keep going for more than two-and-a-half days, the company says.
Specifications listed by Nokia for the Lumia 900 include:
"The device will get significant marketing support from Nokia and AT&T, and therefore has the best opportunity of any Windows Phone launched to date to do well in the market. However, that's not to say it will be a blockbuster: the exact timing and pricing will be major factors too, and those have not been announced yet," Dawson added.
