Opera says its Mobile Browser has recently been selected for the following Windows Mobile handsets:
Opera's VP for Mobile Roger Carlhammar stated, "Handset manufacturers choose Opera for their Windows Mobile-based devices for its speed, stability, and standards compliance. Mobile users prefer the Opera browser because it gives them all their favorite Web pages in a user-friendly manner."
Opera has recently released a preview a new version of its Windows Mobile browser, v8.65 beta, which is touted as providing a "faster and more user-friendly Web experience" for all smartphone and Pocket PC users. New features in v8.65 are said to include: search directly in the address bar; "grab and scroll" (on Pocket PCs, only); copy text; a save function for images; and the ability to import IE bookmarks.
