The IB805 is suited for a wide range of compact Internet devices and applications in transportation, automation, and industrial control, says Ibase. The SBC offers the ubiquitous Intel Atom N270, paired with the usual Intel 945GSE Express Chipset with ICH7M and Intel GMA 950 graphics. A DDR2 SO-DIMM socket is said to accept up to 2GB of memory.

Display interfaces include both VGA, for CRTs, and single channel, 18-bit LVDS, according to the company. The IB805 also provides a gigabit Ethernet port, two RS-232 serial ports, and HD audio. Compared to a previous board offered by Ibase, the IB804, a key addition here is the IB805's two SATA II ports.

Availability

The IB805 SBC appears to be available now, at an undisclosed price. The company did not disclose operating system support, but its x86-based products typically support Windows as well as Linux. More information may be found here.
