The Sirius platform features a 520 MHz PXA270 processor with 128 or 256 MB of SDRAM and 32 or 64 MB of NOR Flash. NAND Flash is also supported, according to the company. The optional touchscreen LCD supports resolutions from 320 x 240 to 800 x 600.

Availability

According to E-con, the Sirius reference platform with basic Windows CE 5.0 support will begin shipping during the first quarter of this year. "Production-quality" applications running on Windows CE 5.0 are expected to be available by end of the second quarter. The company says it can customize the platform to meet specific customer requirements.
