        Pentium M SBC includes net security coprocessor

        WIN Enterprises is shipping a new Pentium M single board computer (SBC) aimed at Internet and network appliance applications. The IP-06049 sports ten gigabit and four 10/100 Ethernet ports, up to 8GB of DDR RAM, and a network security coprocessor that offloads packet processing and public key computations.


        The SBC supports both Windows XP Embedded and Windows CE.

        A key feature of the IP-06049 SBC is the SafeNet SafeXcel 184x network security coprocessor that incorporates a complete suite of security features in hardware, including: IPSec, ESP, and AH transforms; basic encrypt/decrypt and hash operations; and, SL, TLS, and MPPE cryptographic operations.

        Features of the IP-06049 SBC include:
        • Pentium M processor
        • SafeXcel 184x network security coprocessor
        • Up to 8GB of DDR RAM
        • 10 gigabit Ethernet ports
        • 4 10/100 Ethernet ports
        • 64-bit PCI-X expansion slot
        • CompactFlash Socket
        • 2 serial ports
        • 2 USB Ports
        • Parallel port
        • IDE connector
        • Digital I/O -- 4 inputs, 4 outputs
        • Watchdog timer and hardware system monitor
        Win Enterprises can provide customized versions of the IP-06049 SBC, including depopulations and other modifications, and also custom BSPs for Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded, it says.
