In addition to English and the newly released languages, CalliGrapher supports Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Each CalliGrapher language pack includes a language-specific handwriting recognition engine, an on-screen keyboard, and a dictionary, according to PhatWare.
Other new features in CalliGrapher 7.4 include:
- Auto-corrector, said to improve the quality of handwriting recognition
- PenCommander navigation tool
- User-customizable recognition margins
- Updated toolbar graphics
PhatWare says CalliGrapher is easily accessible from within most applications, and seamlessly integrates with
PhatPad, a notes organizing package for Pocket PCs.
CalliGrapher 7.4 is priced at $29.95, but is available as a free upgrade for registered users of earlier 7.x versions. Language packs are sold separately for $14.95 each.
