        Pocket PC phone boasts 10,000-entry phone directory

        Lenovo, the Chinese computer maker negotiating to buy IBM's PC division, also makes handheld devices. Its latest is the ET960 Pocket PC phone running Windows Mobile 2003 SE. Among the ET960's key features is a phone directory capable of storing 10,000 entries, according to Lenovo.

        The ET960 is based on a 312 MHz Intel PXA272 processor with 64 MB of SDRAM and 64 MB of flash memory. According to Lenovo, the handset function and PDA function are completely separable, enabling the device to be used on an airplane.

        Another interesting feature is a 1.3 megapixel camera that is mounted on a "rotatable module" that swivels the lens through 180 degrees. The camera is accompanied by an LED flash said to illuminate out to 2 meters.

        Lenovo lists the following key features and specifications for the ET960:
