New features in X-PRO for Windows Mobile Pocket PC v2.2 are said to include AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation), SMS (Short Message Service, only available for specific carrier customers), instant messaging, and presence awareness using open standards like SIMPLE and XCAP. The IM feature is compatible with popular instant message platforms such as Microsoft Windows Messenger.
